Meteorological (readings) Interference
We have a female (I think) grey squirrel visiting us almost daily.
A little while ago she climbed onto the wall just outside the kitchen window, terrified having been chased by something.
She was there for a couple of hours until she was sure she was safe.
As it was snowing, we’d thrown out a few of the birds’ peanuts to tempt her down.
She still visits us regularly, raiding the bird feeders with ninja-like dexterity – amazing to watch.
We recently changed one of our feeding stations, and the squirrel’s old technique to get the peanuts wasn’t working.
I watched her try a whole bunch of times, before she decided to take 5 on my weather station.
At least it’s good for something as the transmitter broke during the winter months!
After a serious squirrel ponder and major nose twichings, she ran off to the neighbor’s garden for easier pickings.
Five minutes layer she came back and worked it out first time.
Apologies for the grainy shots, I only had my phone on me and I was inside, shooting through the kitchen window.
